Every other simulator in this space is missing at least one of these. Most are missing all four.
Rules pre-loaded from source documentation and verified bi-weekly. No manual entry. Every trailing DD type, consistency rule, and expiry window exact.
Win rate, average win, average loss, trades per day. Use the real numbers from your backtest or live track record. If those numbers are inflated, the output will be too. Honest inputs give you a number you can trust before you buy the next combine.
Every firm has different drawdown mechanics, consistency rules, and expiry windows. Those differences can swing your pass rate by 80 points. PropSim has all 61 configs pre-loaded: you pick a firm (or compare all of them at once), and the exact rules are already handled.
In under 5 seconds, you get your real pass probability, how long it should take, what it costs per attempt, and which account pays the most for your specific style. That is the information that turns failed combines into profitable ones.
The average prop trader spends ~$800/year on failed challenges. PropSim costs $25/month and tells you which combines to skip before you pay a cent.

PropSim models the exact written rules of each firm: profit target, trailing drawdown type (EOD vs intraday unrealized), floor lock, daily loss limit type (soft vs hard), consistency rule, and expiry window. With 20,000 paths the statistical margin is under ±0.5%. The main error source is your own inputs: inflated win rates produce inflated pass rates. The firm rules on our end are exact and verified bi-weekly.
EOD trailing updates your drawdown floor once per day at session close. Intraday trailing updates tick-by-tick based on peak unrealized equity. Meaning: a profitable open position that pulls back intraday can fail your account even if you close the session green. PropSim models both correctly. Most competing tools only model EOD, which overstates your pass rate by 10–20 points on intraday-trail accounts. It is the single most consequential accuracy gap between PropSim and any alternative.
61 configurations across 11 firms: TopStep (50K/100K/150K), Apex Trader Funding (25K–150K, both EOD and intraday trail), Lucid Trading (Flex + Pro, 25K–150K), Alpha Futures (Standard + Advanced, 50K–150K), MyFundedFutures (Flex/Core/Rapid/Pro), Take Profit Trader (25K–150K), Tradeify (Select + Growth, 50K–150K), FundedNext Futures (Rapid + Legacy, 50K/100K), Blue Guardian Futures (Standard + Guardian, 50K–150K), Bulenox (EOD, 50K–150K), and Top One Futures (Elite, 50K–150K). Rules verified bi-weekly. Free tier includes TopStep 50K only.
Four numbers from your backtest or live trading history: win rate (% of trades that are winners), average win and average loss in dollars (or R:R ratio), and average trades per day. You also choose a firm, account size, and the price you actually pay. PropSim accounts for promotional discounts. The simulation runs in under 5 seconds.
The Geometry Optimizer sweeps 28 R:R configurations at identical daily expected value (your edge stays constant) and finds the (Win Rate, R:R) pair that maximizes pass rate on your specific firm's barrier problem. The optimal geometry is different per account because the drawdown mechanics and profit target ratios create structurally different problems. The typical improvement is +40 percentage points of pass rate with zero change to your trading edge.

No. PropSim is a statistical calculator. It runs simulations based on the parameters you provide and the published rules of each firm. Results are probabilities, not guarantees. Prop trading involves substantial risk of loss. Use PropSim to make more informed decisions, not as a signal to trade.
